Can I truly go into history and the women who formed it and not touch on Mary?
For many women,especially those of faith. Mary is an icon and to many an idol, while she has been one of the many women in history to be the cause of much controversy. I have been going through several books which connect her to several controversies,her being the mother of God and all. The story of Mary alone, is one which could be broken up into many subtitles, for there is Mary the virgin, Mary the mother and Mary the wife. The question concerning her would be: "What is Mary the symbol of?" Faith, a vessel for a promise fulfilled, and being all she is she above all women?
None the less, many especially those of the Christian faith,the Catholic faith to be specific consecrate her and view her as the model for every wife and woman.
There is relevance to her, now its a matter of me discovering her relevance to my study and the modern wife.
