Jewellery Must-haves

First on the list of jewellery must-haves for brides and women are stud earrings. These usually have a single gemstone or a simple cluster, that is if the designer or customer has preference to gemstones. However preference is not the priority when making a choice in colour for your wedding day, but what will work best or better compliment the outfit. Then for those who dont favour the idea of gemstones includes in their earrings., you may consider the use of textured surfaces, which can be achieved through the use of reticulation, sandblasting, to name a few. There are other options which can also be considered when someone favours the idea of colour, like having you studed earrings include resin or enamel. However the most important thing I try to keep in mind when designing the earrings, is the type of wedding I designing the earrings for, and in this case a typical white wedding ceremony. As the blog's main theme is bridal jewellery, the stud earring examples I have designed and selected are for a bridal occasion. These examples will includes three pairs of studs, one pair with gemstones, one cluster stud, and one pair without gemstones.

From my own personal designs, I have one pair of floral earrings with multiple gemstones. I have designed and rendered these designs using CAD/CAM, a jewellery design programme. The final stages of the earrings will be uploaded once ihave printed the earrings.

For my second example, I have chosen to keep with the floral theme and use a simple silver floral arrangement without the use of gemstones. The earrings have a gallery on the side. Once again, the pitcures with the final stages will follow.

To conclude on my stud examples, I have chosen to design a simple pear-shaped cluster stud which also consist of two round brilliant cut gemstones.

That is it for now. Pictures will follow soon.
