In my previous post, I showed the initial design thoughts for my cage bird concept which had several design problems such as the lack of structure and I had decided to address this in my development of the design as seen in the pictures below
I therefore decided to add a bottom base for the beads by adding a beaded netting underneath. This process had also allowed me the chance to practice a new beading stitch, and was thus an educational bonus. I did however alter the design slightly as the development of the design required such changes.
