The previous development of the cage bird forced me to take more things into consideration, such as taking the bird shape into design consideration. Which is what I tried to focus on in the beading of the bird as seen in the pictures below. I also thought if the pieces took the form of a bird as seen from a bird's perspective would also add to my message.

So I decided to bead a V-shaped base at the bottom with small round glass beads, which was then followed by the bugle beads on top. I had tried to create adequate spacing with all the beadworks so as to create the illusion of space/emptiness, the feelings which overwhelm the young girl.
