As I was doing further analysis on the slave and slave chains, for my other poem, I had begun to notice just how some of the chains connected to both the hands and the neck. I wanted to try to capture this idea in an earring form during the beginning stages of my manufacturing exploration.
The picture on the left is the first thought I had, which was to have the two rounds and an empty link. I went on to develop the idea to include a rose as the third element to the chain. This is still a thought and work in progress though.
