Next on the list of jewellery must-haves is a pearl set. Please do note that these are in no specific order, I will post these at random.
The pearl set, I have designed consists of a ring and matching earrings. I have gone this route rather than going for a necklace or a bracelet, as I want the pearl wedding ring to take centre stage of the set. Thus making the earring a complimentary item to the ring.
Pearl come in various colours and as I have mentioned may have multiple uses when it comes to jewellery. They also have a special representation to the month of June, as they pearls are considered to be the June birth month gemstones. This set will thus have add more sentiments to a bride born in June, wanting to add more representation to her wedding ring. With this design although the pearl was made to be tge main focus, I felt that the addition of gemstones arraged around the stone set in a gold wrap around the stone; it not only adds further emphasise on the pearl, but also adds to an interesting nest for it.
The ring shank has been positionef in this specific manner so as to bring forth the natural placement of the pearl in the sea when it has been uncovered, as though it is being presented to the finder. In this case, the wearer.
I will be posting the next pearl set interpretation soon.
