Change of direction...

Assumed that I wanted to my sole focus to be CAD/CAM designed and produced work. However with further research and self introspection, I have seen that I want to do more with bridal jewellery as a whole and not be stuck or held down by one idea or creation type. I have therefore decided to explore the idea of either recreating/ redesigning some of the pieces I have done on CAD/CAM until now. For this I have been looking at works done by the likes of Cythia Eid, Betty Helen Longi and Michaerl Good, who have both explored and expanded with jewellery forming through the uses of anticlastic raising, microfolding and synclastic raising; which is a direction I would like to somewhat explore for my bridal jewellery range. At least for a section of it. Either way, I do feel that between the Roland machine and the various forming techniques, there is much room for design expansion into the creation of my idea of contemporary bridal jewellery.
Below are some links to some of the works done by the previously mentioned jewellery designers.
