Wire wrap

I didn't want to have the same weave throughout all the pieces, so I decided to do a wire wrap for my second neckpiece, so as to see how the beads would interact with a different backing.  I had searched through YouTube in order to find a few videos which illustrated the technique.  The picture below is a copper wire test piece of the wire wrapping technique.  

 

Once I had understood the technique I started doing the silver version.  I have included the silver wire wrap base and  a close-up of the wrapping in the pictures below.
